What is Supported Independent Living (SIL) at Vivendi ?

Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services are designed to empower people with disabilities by providing compassionate, tailored support that promotes dignity, choice, and autonomy in everyday life.
SIL refers to the NDIS-funded support that helps individuals with daily activities both in and outside the home. This may include personal care, household tasks, assistance with appointments, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and participation in social and community activities. Beyond practical help, our dedicated support workers also offer guidance and encouragement to build life skills, boost confidence, and support long-term independence.
We offer SIL across a variety of living arrangements, including shared homes, rental or public housing, and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), with round-the-clock support where needed.

How Does SIL Work?
To access Supported Independent Living (SIL) with Vivendi, you’ll need an active NDIS plan that includes SIL funding. The level of funding is guided by what’s reasonable and necessary to support your individual goals, needs, and circumstances. This is determined through a quote from your SIL provider, along with supporting documentation such as an assessment from an allied health professional.
Eligibility for SIL generally requires evidence that 24/7 support is essential to help you live safely and confidently. At Vivendi, we work closely with you and your support team to ensure your living environment is not only secure and supportive but truly tailored to help you thrive—encouraging your independence, dignity, and wellbeing every step of the way.
